Welcome to Logistics Loft. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing logisticsloft.com or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Logistics Loft provides freight brokerage, warehousing, supply chain consulting, last-mile delivery, and related logistics services. We act as an intermediary between shippers and carriers, coordinating the transportation of goods on behalf of our clients.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Logistics Loft are estimates based on the information provided at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may vary based on actual shipment dimensions, weight, route conditions, fuel surcharges, and other applicable factors. Quotes are valid for the period specified and are subject to carrier availability.
4. Shipment Responsibilities
Shipper Responsibilities
- Provide accurate shipment details including weight, dimensions, and commodity description
- Properly package and label all freight
- Ensure goods comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Have freight ready for pickup at the agreed-upon date and time
- Disclose any hazardous materials or special handling requirements
Our Responsibilities
- Arrange transportation with vetted, licensed carriers
- Provide shipment tracking and status updates
- Communicate delays or issues promptly
- Assist with claims processing when applicable
5. Liability and Claims
As a freight broker, Logistics Loft arranges transportation but does not take physical possession of freight. Carrier liability is governed by the Carmack Amendment and applicable federal regulations. We will assist in filing and processing claims with carriers on your behalf.
Claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery (or expected delivery date) and lawsuits within 2 years, as required by federal law.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established in individual service agreements. Standard terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.
7. Cancellations
Shipment cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled pickup may incur a cancellation fee. Cancellation policies will be communicated at the time of booking.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on logisticsloft.com, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Logistics Loft and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logistics Loft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, regardless of the cause of action.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Logistics Loft, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lucas County, Ohio.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
